Our Story

Where the wake swells, we wake well.

WakeSwell started with a dream and the fear of stepping into the water. But the Lord gave us His Spirit to walk in faith, even when our faith was little. So we leave a wake, even when the waters swell against us.

Where it started

WakeSwell didn't start as a plan. It started as a book.

I wrote Rest, Regroup, Rise for people like me: people with ADHD who didn't want another clinical guide full of scientific jargon, just something honest, practical, and rooted in faith. That book became the foundation of a publishing brand, and from there, things started to grow in directions I hadn't expected.

What began as a single book became a full line of products, built around the same idea: faith-based goods for people who want something real, without pretense. WakeSwell has grown one step at a time. A book, then products, then a brand.

Every piece came from the same place: a desire to create something honest, faith-centered, and built for people who don't always see themselves reflected in what's already out there. We're still early. But the goal has never changed — to build a business, and a community, around trust, transparency, and the belief that faith and everyday struggles like ADHD aren't things to hide from each other.

01

Rest

We don't chase every drop. Fewer pieces, made carefully, released when they're ready.

02

Regroup

Every collection has a reason to exist — a verse, a release, a season — never filler on a shelf.

03

Rise

What we build should lift someone else. That's the only growth metric we care about.

The standing commitment

10% given forward, always.

From the first order on, a tenth of everything WakeSwell makes goes back out the door. It's not a campaign — it's the standing arrangement.

The book behind the brand

It all traces back to three moves.

Devante wrote Rest, Regroup, Rise for minds that move fast and stall hard. The clothing came after — a way to wear the framework instead of just reading it.
